For Wookie | Fort Collins Photographer
Having a dog is so much more than just having a pet. They are your companion, your friend, your family. They are always happy to see you come home, and miss you the second you step foot out the door.
I have known Wookie for nearly 9 years, and she has lived an incredible life with her family. In short, she’s a unique soul with an enormous amount love and loyalty to give.
She would spend her days chasing balls, playing with her sister Bella and have frequent trips to the mountains with her family where camping, fishing and just enjoying the fresh mountain air were enjoyed. She always had extra playmates with her 'cousins' and other friends dogs around that would stay for the day or sometimes longer.
She is so much more than the family dog… she is family and she will remain a part of their family as a fond memory when her time has come.
She watched relationships bloom, marriage happen, and welcomed a new sister and brother for her to protect, play and grow up with.
Wookie, you are loved by so many beyond your sweet family and you will be missed greatly. Your memory will live on, and the love for you will always continue!
“The one absolutely unselfish friend that a man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him and the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous is his dog. A man’s dog stands by him in prosperity and in poverty, in health and in sickness. He will sleep on the cold ground, where the wintry winds blow and the snow drives fiercely, if only he may be near his master’s side. He will kiss the hand that has no food to offer, he will lick the wounds and sores that come in encounters with the roughness of the world. He guards the sleep of his pauper master as if he were a prince. When all other friends desert, he remains. When riches take wings and reputation falls to pieces, he is as constant in his love as the sun in its journey through the heavens.” ~ George Vest
